Meet Your Instructor: Dr. Julia Price

Dr. Julia Price is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial pathologist and founder of Precise Oral Pathology in Atlanta, Georgia.

She earned her DDS from the University of Missouri–Kansas City, graduating summa cum laude and earning induction into Omicron Kappa Upsilon. She completed a General Practice Residency at Oregon Health & Science University before practicing general dentistry in Kansas City for four years, where she developed a strong foundation in comprehensive patient care.

Dr. Price later completed her specialty training in oral and maxillofacial pathology at Northwell Health–Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New York. During her training, she studied under experienced oral pathologists and consulted on patients throughout the hospital, contributing to the evaluation and management of complex cases.

Her clinical and educational interests include early detection of oral cancer, clinicopathologic correlation, oral lesion evaluation, and empowering dental professionals to recognize and manage oral disease with greater confidence.

Dr. Price regularly lectures to dental and hygiene groups, translating complex pathology concepts into practical, clinically relevant strategies that can be applied immediately in everyday practice.
